How are we helping

We recognize that land deserves our respect and that it is our privilege to live with the land as our ancestors have for countless generations before us. We know that capitalist greed and corporate profit motives are destroying much of what belongs to all of us. But we know that any journey begins with a single step, and this journey begins with small land purchases.

Through acquiring land, we hope to steward and protect that land, and to help people in their journey to reconnect with the land in ways that capitalism does not allow. We wish to make land accessible to people, to educate people on how the history of our land and its people affects the present, and how we can interact with the land today.

A combination of knowledge and experience can create wider ripple effects, making waves in places we never thought possible. This is our first step, and it can be yours too. We welcome you to join us.
